Bought a set of tines for my Troy, cannot believe the difference. These dig in and make the tiller turn the soil much better than the factory ones, makes the performance much better and gets the job done with half the work. I've had my tiller for nearly 10 years and it's like I bought a new one, though it outdoes factory tines easily. I had to replace broken tines every year. they always snapped off at the bolt hole and, as someone who worked in materials research for many years I can tell you that the quality of that product was bad. It looked like poor heat treating as the metal was all crystallized in the broken section.
